In May 1718 he blockaded the port of Charleston, surrounded the city and kidnapped several citizens, for whose freedom called for an unusual rescue: a box of medicines; his fleet was hit and beaten; Teach was shot five times and received several saber wounds, he was beheaded and his head hung in the courtyard at the Hampton's garrison. This Pirate sabre has the typical D-guard and is similar to the one used by Blackbeard. It features an embossed blade and cast metal skull fob.
