Our Denix Miniature Medieval Catapult, a replica of Catapults capable of throwing large objects have existed since Roman times. Although this miniature from Denix replicates an 11th century piece the design had changed little over the intervening period. Capable of throwing anything from rocks to fireballs to dead horses (and lately pianos!), these implements were used in besieging wall-enclosed cities and surely struck terror into the citizenry. This miniature reproduction of the famous siege weapon is of all metal construction, with working ratchet and firing action.
